If you're looking for a way to make your daily serving of greens taste like dessert, I got you.
This green smoothie bowl will load you up with all your dark leafy favorites AND by using frozen zucchini in place of the frozen bananas typically found in smoothies, it will keep your sugar intake low.
This is a staple in my house, and once you try it, it will be one in yours too.
Daily Greens Smoothie Bowl
1/2 frozen zucchini roughly chopped
1/4 cup frozen berries (I usually use cherries and blueberries here)
1/2 cup frozen spinach
1/2 cup frozen kale stems (or stems from any leftover greens)
1/2 inch piece ginger
1/2 tsp spirulina
1/2 tsp moringa leaf powder
1 tbsp raw honey
1/4 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
3-4 ice cubes
Blend everything together in a high speed blender for about a minute or until you get a smooth ice cream texture.
Top with some nut butter and chia seed pudding and enjoy
